One that looks even more promising is Tim Meekin's ImageQuant... It doesn't
currently support JPEG, but it has the option listed, so I can only assume
it's in the works.  Its GIF support is fabulous, though, and the quality
of the translation is wonderful!  I especially like the scrollable 3200
color images!  Absolutely the best converter available as far as I'm 
concerned.
