No, there isn't a demo version of Contacts GS, but I could easily make
available a screen shot.
There are two components to Contacts GS: The Contacts GS NDA and
TimeOut ContactsMover.
Written by Burger Bill Heineman, the Contacts GS NDA is a 10 field
name and address database program that works from within all standard
GS/OS applications. The memory requirements are minimal; if you have
enough RAM to run GS/OS, you have enough RAM to run Contacts GS. It
does require System 5.0.2 or later, but due to improvements in the
GS/OS Toolbox, System 6.x is highly recommended.
Written by the co-editor of TimeOut Central, Will Nelken, TimeOut
ContactsMover provides a 2 way automated option to share name and
address data base info between Contacts GS and AppleWorks.
To use TimeOut ContactsMover with AppleWorks v3, UltraMacros v3.x or
v4.x is required. To use with AppleWorks v4.0.2 or v4.3, nothing extra
is required.
Additionally, Contacts GS data can easily be exported into Addressed
For Success, or into any Apple II word processor, or DB Master. Or,
for that matter, even if you don't have macro capabilities in
AppleWorks Classic (AW 3 without UltraMacros), it's just a matter of a
few keystrokes to import or export Contacts GS data with AppleWorks.
I'll upload a graphic screen shot from Contacts GS to c.b.a2.
