Urm. I program in asm on my GS, and C on unix boxes. Sooner or
later, I might start going to C for some of my projects now that they
don't require the speed of asm. Also, a lot of the younger generation
of us (which tends to be most of those writing stuff) have had a lot
more C experience (and preferences) than Pascal.

I know Pegasus Pascal offers a lot of things that would stave off
my dislike for it (bitfields, etc.), but when I code C all day at work,
then come home to asm, adding a third language would only make my
stuff worse than it already is. :)

Hey! No fair! No stealing my ideas! [Insert vague ramblings about
150% vaporware here.... ;) ]

Urm. Caltech is $23K/year. I'm spending as much on my GS as I can

Big apps take lots and lots of time. Something not all of us have.
Far easier to code a demo once a year and not have to worry about
people griping about real bugs and having to fix them. :)

Dead right. After we pick up a few provinces as states, maybe we'll
treat you better... :)

Mostly the fact that asm and C are the preferred languages
nowadays. Your games are great; far more people can click madly with
a mouse than sit down and code something. I've written mostly small
CDAs and Twilight II modules so far; some people just never know what
they're missing. That may change soon...
