It can also mean "squeezed binary II" file created by using the
Squeeze program (Don Elton, author?) to compress (.sq) and put in a
binary II envelope (.bny).  (Or do I have it backward, .bny first, then
squeeze).  Seldom used now, it was the common file before Andy Nicholas
developed shrinkit and Dave Whitney created binscii.  So, if the file
is really old, it may mean this original usage.
