That's because GScii+ recognizes them in the decode. The menu there is for
selecting what kind of encoding you want, since it can handle the multiple
styles, and will only be undimmed when encode is selected.
However, we've learned there's much more to this dl problem than we wanted.
Of course - We're dealing with Apple here... always a + and a -....
