I'm zipping them in unix, then downloading them with Ymodem.

The zip archive is a textfile containing the binary files... It UnZipps
fine, and the only problems I've had were UnSHKing or if it UnSHKed fine
then the problem was with the resulting files

Would you mind telling a UNIX illiterate how to use nulib?
