This is not completly true. It only requires the 65c02 CPU.
The CPU should only cost about $5-$10. --Much less expensive
and far easyer to find then the complete ][e "enhanced upgrade".
But it will not show the "Apple //e" logo apon bootup. It also
will not be able to run programs that need the entire "enhanced
chip set" but it will run ProTERM just fine.
