What kind of ][e card is this?

I have come across a strange ][e card I can't identify.
It's made my Apple and is called "LIRON AIIE INTERFACE".
It has one DB15 connector comming off it. Anyone have any
idea what this card might be? A 3.5" drive card perhaps?
