Trying to get started with a SE/30 :: Want some help...

Hi, there,

Some time ago I got my hands on a SE/30 Macintosh which I'm planning
to use as a MIDI sequencer. However, since I'm completly unfamiliar
with Mac's in general, I started with fetching some utilities from
the INFO-MAC archive in oder to 'dig' something of the basics.
My SE/30 completly stands alone, nothing connected to it, so I
started to use my PC link with the InterNet for getting some
programs on floppy disk. Put the disk into the MAC and started copying
the files to harddisk. But that was it..... I gues I don't have any
utility to unpack the .SIT, .HQX, .CPT, .SEA files, since all the
unpack utilities are also packed.
Does anyone how to crack this problem ? I've got a version of UnStuffIt
installed on my Mac but it seemed to be an old version not capable of
handling the newer archive formats. I figured out how to decode .HQX
files, but it gave me a .SIT file again. Aaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhh

                                  Thanks in Advance,

                                         Arno Waal
