If you want to do the conversion on your gs, then I would
recommend Ian's AudioZap (Pay the shareware fee, it's worth it!).
AZ will convert between many formats.

If you want to do the conversion on your friend's PC, and he
happens to be running OS/2, then grab PMSndX 1.x.  This thing
is pretty darn amazing.

If you want to do the conversion using Windows, then I can't
help you, cause I don't use that junk.
