TWGS upgrades (FAQ additions?)
Hi All,
I'm looking at upgrading my 13.75Mhz (using a WDC Engineering 65816)
TWGS to use the new 65816.
I bought my TWGS with the 32k cache installed. The SRAMS
are 35 nanoseconds:
Mosel
MS62256A-35NC
9124 U 5S
Are these the standard SRAMS for the 32k Cache? (I guess so)
Can this information be added to the Accelerator FAQ please?
(To save others having to pull it off to have a look :)
What is the theoretical limit in Mhz that these SRAMS can support?
Can the equation be placed in the Accelerator FAQ please?
Has anyone used the new 65816 in the TWGS successfully yet?
How about some more success stories and configuration details?
For the benefit of Australian and New Zealander netters:
Standard size TTL oscillators in a metal package are available
closer to home from
Clarke & Severn Electronics
PO Box 1 Hornsby NSW 2077 Australia
(02)482-1944 voice
(02)482-1309 fax
As at November 1992, they would make any speed oscillator you requested
for Aus$21.00. Oscillators which they had in stock ranged in price up
to Aus$12.00. Obviously the prices would be a little different now.
If anyone in Australia/NZ/Asia is interested, I have a 50Mhz (effective
TWGS speed = 12.5 Mhz) standard size TTL oscillator which I don't need.
I'd like Aus$5.00 for it.
