Apple //e Power Pins
Hey this is a neat little item. I am working on a case for
my HD's and I wanted to run a line from the 200w PS to my //e
because I keep eating these dinky little 60w Apple units and I
was running the pin outs on the Mother board and I have checked
them against the diagram on the PS it self and on the board in
the PS and I am getting a differnt set depending on what I am
looking at.
On my stock Apple unit... By what is on the PS Case
_ Black GND
| ___________ Yellow +5 2.5a
__|__|_____
| O O O \ ------- Blue -12v .25a
| |
|_O__O__O__/ ------- Green -5v .25a
| |
| |___________ Orange +12v 1.5a
|____ Black GND
But On the board in the PS case it goes like this
Blue - -5v
Green - -12v
Orange- +5v
Yellow- +12v
Black - Common GND
Black - Common GND
The AE Power Supply is the same as the //e on the PS
board in the PS. Its back asswards from what it is on the
outside of the case...
Which is right ? I am trying to get this damn case right for
the mother board and I really dont want to have a second //e
husk around gathering dust....
