Re: Vulcan 40Mb HD problems

Sorry about the last message, I think my news program managed to garble
most of it.  I have an AE Vulcan 40Mb internal hard drive with 3
partitions.  During the course of of the year it was left on overnight a
couple of times and I think it might have overheated.  One of the
partitions is completely unreadable by the finder.  The other two are
readable within the finder and within Aplesoft Basic but some of the
directories and files seem to be corrupted.  Has anyone had any success
bringing an incapacitated Vulcan hard drive back to life?  I would be
willing to shell out some bucks to get it repaired, or if someone could
point me in the direction of some software which can diagnose and repair
surface defects or corrupted file information that would be really
helpful.  Thanks for any help,
