Ok, someone answered my question via E-mail. I'll share it in case
anybody else is curious...

QuickPort II is a CDA that lets you set your printer and modem ports to
whatever speed you want all the way up to 57600 baud on the fly. 

Very useful for me on this dec system....I can only upload at 9600 baud
max. so I just hit the cda and change to 9600 then back again, but also
telling the modem to retrain as well. 

It will tell you the initialized status of the port speeds as well. 

Kinda cool...Gno leave the port undefined until called.  All other
programs have it default to the Control panel settings... 

You can find it up on grind in the uploads directry if it hasn't been
moved to the comm, or util directries. 

It was just a short program Yoshi wrote to use some of the hardware tech
notes he got on the SCC chip...
