Yep, and correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the Apple High
Speed SCSI card has a jumper to select for the card to provide
termination power the way the RamFAST does. Does the Apple High
Speed just always provide termination power?... but I degress....

So, find out if the AHS provides termination power or find out if
your new drive provides it. Something on the SCSI bus needs to provide
for this. If the drive doesn't then you either need to get a drive
that does or the more "cost-effective" alternative probably is to
sell your AHS on csa2.marketplace and buy a RamFAST.

Oh, a third possibility that some people have posted is that they have
actually soldered the AHS to provide SCSI termination power. In fact,
there was recently a posting on c.b.a2 concerning this!
