Apple IIc modem port -- woes no more!

I'd like to give a big thanks to all those who contributed advice for my 
poor old Apple IIc.  I replaced the 1488 and 1489 chips, and the machine is 
running just beautifully.  It's a good thing, too -- I was developing 
ProTERM withdrawl symptoms ("Why can't I type Apple-up-arrow???").   ;-)
