They power their own terminators, but still do not supply
termination power to the bus. And hey, I have a slight
clue now about this, just did a EE problem set on
transmission lines, reflected/transmitted power and
_terminating resistors_. But really, it is still magic.

And disconnecting the SCSI cable while the drive is on can
blow that fuse (but seems safe otherwise) and stop termination
power.
