Telnet to hermes.merit.edu. At the "Which service?" prompt, enter
"sprintnet-313171". Proceed to login to GEnie. :) Since you are using
Sprintnet's fiber, there is an additional $2/hour surcharge. If you have
9600 bps Internet access or faster, you can get away with one hour a week
on GEnie, just to dump all new messages to a buffer for offline reading
with the GEM or CoPilot software.
