I'm pretty sure you need a new motherboard... I called Alltech
Electronics to see if they sold the ADB microcontroller chip, and one
of the tech support guys there said that it cost too much to get the
chip off the motherboard intact. Something like $80/chip. Even if they
did have the chip, it'd probably be a pain to solder it on. All those
tiny surface mount pins :) I ended up buying a used ROM 3 to replace
my ROM 01, which gives me the 911 as soon as I turn it on.
