NO.  DiscQuest reads CD-ROMs in the DiscPassage database format.  Oh,
and now with the new encyclopedia version, some of Compton's
Encylcopedia's for 1994 as well.

For a simplification, think of ISO-9660 as a disk format like Prodos
and think of DiscPassage as a file format like, say, what AW uses to
encode its database files.  For example, the CD-ROM 'Great
Literature' is in ISO-9660 disk format and in DiscPassage file
format.  'Great Literature' can be accessed by DiscQuest.

System 6.0.1's SCSICD driver can access simple text files, and any
other file it would normally be able to access off of say a hard
drive (like gif files), - assuming proper naming conventions of the
files and the folders - off of ISO-9660 discs without the help of
DiscQuest.  But alone it is useless for reading formatted files like
those formatted in DiscPassage.
