I wrote a small program that would put "Computer Malfunctioning" up in the
middle of the screen.  The program would change to the reset vector so 
hitting that wouldn't have any effect.  It would then page flip between 
lo-res graphics and text real fast so it looked like the computer was on the
verge of blowing up....  Lot's of fun!!  

Also a quick and dirty was to jump into machine and write a small program that
looked something like this:

Call speaker click  
Empty
Empty
Empty
Empty
Empty
Jump back to speaker click

It would make the most godawful high pitched whine.  It sounded like a bad
monitor.  It was hard to tell where it was coming from.

Oh, the good old days...
