Ok. c.s.a2 is a part of the net, but it is NOT the mission of c.s.a2 to
instruct people about the net. There are myriad newsgroups and local
help systems on nearly any ISP or university system devoted especially
to newbies, including such conviences as menu shells and so on.

Again, c.s.a2 is not the place for it. comp.infosystems.www is.

All of those topics have more relavance to the Apple II than comet pictures.

People are doing such teaching on comp.unix.questions and others. If
you'd like to RFD comp.sys.apple2.net-newbies, feel free to. I'll even
vote for it.

Heh. I personally don't use ncftp...waste of cycles. But then, I don't
read threaded news, and I generally wont run something I didn't compile
myself :)

RFD an appropriate group. It's not that hard [see news.answers].

WWW isn't everyone's cup of tea...our own James Brookes can't stand it
for various reasons.
>Oh well, all and all, I'd rather be here than on AOL <haha>.
Hehehehehehe :)
