When the Apple Catalog came out about a year ago (selling stuff direct from
Apple), it included the Apple IIe and some peripherals for it. I can't
remember the order, but first I think it was the IIgs that went off the
price list, then the IIe. The last new IIgs to come from Apple were
auctioned off in Framingham, MA by Ross-Dove auctioning company (official
Apple auction), in December of '93. The auction was part of Apple's big
stock clearout of stuff that had been sitting in wharehouses (tons of
stuff). You could always get a good deal on a used IIgs...
