I'm not sure about workstation monitors, but most multisync PC monitors can be
hooked up with an adapter ($15) to any member of the quadra family, which
sense the monitor and adapt.  You have to make sure that the PC has a high
enough refresh rate at a given resoultion (usually 75hz or so), or else that
16" multisync will be doing 640 by 480!  There is also a shareware program
that lest you switch resolutions between restarts on multisync monitors.
