Just a thought... Is the 65816 (and the GS) less complex than the
680X0 (and Macs)? If so, would any well written GS emulator for the
PowerPC outperform an equivalent Mac or IBM emulator in terms of speed?
I can just picture the waves now... "But why are you running a
*GS emulator"? "Because it is the fastest emulator to run on the PowerPC
plus the programs have been written for a slower machine. It really
screams".
Can you picture a side by side recalc in Appleworks, Lotus, and a
Mac spreadsheet. With all respect... Apple would have a fit.
Just a fantasy. Nothing more...
