I hope the smiley was meant in fun.
My first hard disks I used with my RAMFast were a Quantum Q250 SCSI (42MB)
and a Xebec S1410 SASI board attached to a 10MB CMI 5412 MFM hard disk.
(It was NOT a Sider, BTW).
Both drives worked just fine.
I'm now using a DEC RZ23 (104MB) SCSI hard disk (Conner CP3100 controller/
mechanism). It works fine too.
Steve Hirsch has a Rev. B RAMFast and fixed some problems related to using
the older SASI/SCSI controller boards, but then since he consulted with
Drew Vogan when the Sider SASI support was being added, he has at least
some version of the EPROM source code. I'm trying to find out more.
(Steve's the fellow using an Adaptec ACB 5500 on his Rev. B. RAMFast.)
