I have to admit that all of my bias towards the GS and away from anything
else produced by Apple is pure and simple prejudice, based entirely on my
previous experiences with MApple and with the Mac. No, to be honest, I
usually can't tell whether I'm talking to the silicon - until it crashes,
and leaves the user with absolutely no way to recover.

My prejudices are based on the proposition that Simplicity is Everything
- which Macs most definitely aren't, and I've been doing the PPC the
disservice of presuming that what happened to the Mac line will happen to
the PPCs - i.e. a new model every Friday, hype by the trainload and
vastly overpriced software.

I have yet to be convinced that anything in the Marketing Division of
Apple Corp has changed, and having been burned, bitten and scarred by
them in the past, I'm sorely lacking in trust.
