Try using Hayes Smartmodem 9600 ...it works on my GS at all
speeds up to 14.4...also set your speed for 19200 baud
rate...if the board you're dialing is 2400 it will step down...
If you're trying to dial in at 2400 only at a board or system
that offers higher speeds, then 2400 should work...Of course I
am using PT 3.1 not 3.0...there could be a significant
differnece...

My GS scrolls text so fast at 14.4 that its unbelievable! Much
much faster than a mac at the same speed...
