Anyone out there owns a Turbo IDE card?  I've got a little problem here with
mine.  Not sure if it's my HD or the controller card at fault. Btw, the
Turbo IDE card is hooked up to my AppleIIgs.

While copying large amount of data between partition, my HD hangs up on me.
Once it hangs up while I was optimizing my bootup partition(and I did not
do a backup on the partition :-( ).  I notice that it hangs if the HD is
being accessed continously for some time(like volume optimization).  The
Turbo IDE drive access light just light up and the system hangs.  My system
doesn't response to any keypress other than a reset.  Other than that the HD
works just fine.

I have a 210Mb Conner's HD with 7 partition on it. The model no. is CFS210A.
My GS is a ROM1 with 5 Megs of memory(a CV Tech 4Meg board with Apple's 1Meg
board piggybacked on the CV Tech's board).  I have a Super Sonic card also in
my GS.

I've tried the card both with and without the DMA option, and it still hangs.
I don't have such problems when I used the card with a 120Mb Conner
HD(CP30104H), with 4 partitions.  Unfortunately, I burned that and bought the
210Mb HD instead.

Anyone out there have any idea what's wrong with it?  Any help is appreciated.
