Apple 2 Joystick pin assignments.

Subject says it all.
Does anyone know the pin assignments for a 16 pin joystick connection on 
my apple IIe Joystick, and whether or not it could be compatible with an 
IBM connection if the pins were reassigned... OR, if a product that would 
convert these connections is commercially available, OR if plans for 
building such a product exist.  I have a perfectly working Joystick and 
do not wish to shell out 40 bucks for a new one.  I already have such 
info on IBM connections.
