My Paint

Folks

My copy of My Paint has started assuming that I have a touch screen (I
don't) and even shift booting, re-installing, booting from floppy don't
make it change its mind :(

Anyone else come across this problem and solved it?  My 4 year old son is
upset that he cannot use his favourite paint program

Nothing in my set-up has changed at all so I am at a losss to understand
what may be happening (and yes I am sure that nothing has changed).
