Turn appletalk on/off??
Is there an easy way to turn off Appletalk/Appleshare on the IIGS
without generating any error messages on reboot?
I have my IIGS connected to a Mac server, which shares it's appletalk
port with a serial printer, so the appletalk is off most of the time, as
I don't really need it. However, I can't find as easy a way to turn off
Appletalk on the IIGS as I can on the Mac. This is a bother when the
IIGS is booting and searching for an Appletalk server. IT takes forever
for it to boot.
I'd like to be able to turn off Appletalk on the GS when it's not
connected to the Mac, but I haven't found an easy way to do it, that
doesn't generate error messages on reboot. These would be fine for me,
but would baffle my 6 year old son if they popped up when he booted the
machine to play a game.
So, does anyone know a good way to turn off Appletalk on the GS?
