Super Serial Card <-> BASIC pgm help needed

Can someone point me in the right direction as to how to write a BASIC
program that can exchange small amounts of data with the Super Serial
Card?  I need to write a program that will send commands to a modem and
receive feedback from the modem as to the outcome of the commands.

I suppose if I had the Technical Reference Manual I'd be able to figure
this out, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.  So there's my second
question: where can I find it?
