   Unless Mac System 7 is lame (you are using that, I assume. If not,
get it), you should be able to select a disk from the finder (just
click on the icon once), then select 'Sharing...' from the File menu.
The Finder may not like the idea of sharing removable disks (I know
you can share CDRoms,  maybe not 3.5's), so this may not work...

   On my 'world', earth, Apple was just too lame to do anything. It
would be a lot of work to simply implement such a thing, and although
it would be nice, it's too much work for such a thing.
