[WANTED] Apple /// hardware hacks!

I am looking for any info on hardware hacks for the Apple /// and ///+ computers.
I read that Apple actually _added_ chips to prevent the Apple ][+ emulation mode
from accessing it's more advanced features. I'd like to disable this "feature". :)
(among other things)
