I am experiencing exactly the same symptoms with a //c. I tried swapping
the cpu with a known good one and there was no change. I have ordered a
new rom chip from Alltech Electronics for $9+$5 shipping. It should
arrive early next week and I'll try to remember to post a report as to
what results.
