HP printer with Apple II?

I was given an HP QuietJet Plus printer.  It's supposed to be an upgraded 
DeskJet, even though the case etc. is different.  Of course, since it was 
give to me instead of being thrown out, there is no manual, etc. with 
it.  

Is anyone familiar with this model?  Can it be made to work with the 
Apple IIGS in either ProDos 8 or GS/OS?  If so, how?  Any information on 
the correct setting of the DIP switches to work with a IIGS?  What cable 
to do I need, IIE to IW2 (with the printer icon on the DIN end of the 
cable)? or IIE to DIN-8 (Modem) cable (with apple on the DIN end)?  
Sources for the manuals, parts (if needed....I was given two, one is 
missing the 'brick on a rope' power cord/power supply)?  Anyone know if 
the ink cartridge is the same as the DeskJet?  Refillable?  Ink refill kit 
source?  Address/phone or internet address for HP?

Or is there a FAQ somewhere that answers all of this?
