Don't worry about the ADB extended keyboard. It will work just fine with
your IIgs. The only keyboard I am aware of that does not work with the
IIgs is Apple's "special" extended keyboard. The one with the funny
design, that lets the keyboard "split" at up to a 30 degree angle. The
keypad and function keys on this keyboard are on a separate panel. I
believe the reason this "ergonomic (as Apple calls it) keyboard" won't
work is because it has a few switches (volume control, brightness,
contrast) on it. It also has a built-in microphone. My guess is that these
extras prevent the keyboard from working on a IIgs. But, Apple's new mouse
will work. The ADB Extended Keyboard II by Apple will work fine on your
Apple IIgs. And I should know, I'm using one right now on my IIgs to type
this response. :-)
