Syndicomm order processing status report

After about six months of things going relatively smoothly, in which I
was getting orders shipped within a couple of days of receiving them,
keeping up nicely with work, and so forth, things sort of fell apart a
couple of months ago.

Late this summer, I had a bad flu. That slowed me down quite a bit,
but I mostly managed to push through it. But just a few weeks later, I
had the flu again, which developed into bronchitis, which then got
even more ambitious and became pneumonia. That pretty much killed my
productivity, and shipping orders for Syndicomm more or less screeched
to an abrupt halt.

I'm finally recovered from that, but we've had some very bad news in
the family -- the details aren't really important for the purposes of
this missive -- that have resulted in my taking on some additional
responsibilities at home to fill the gaps while things get dealt with.

As a result, I'm gradually falling farther and farther behind on
processing orders for Syndicomm. I'm going to be trying to get caught
up, but finding the time for it will be tricky for a while.

My advice is that if you want to place an order, and don't want to pay
until I actually ship your order, pay by credit card rather than
PayPal. PayPal payments get deducted from your account immediately,
even though it might take several weeks to get your order shipped,
depending on my current situation at home and the size of your order.

This whole situation sucks on several levels, and I'm doing the best I
can under the circumstances.
