   There is a fundamental problem with the way the GS does fonts.
Namely, the maximum size any font can be is 255 points. That may
sound like far more than necessary, but when you print, remember
that the printer is at a far higher resolution than the screen.

   Since laserwriters and inkjet printers are at 300dpi, this is four
times the screen resolution. So, to get something that looks like 64
points high on the screen, the printer needs to be sent a font 64*4,
or 256 points. Therefore, 63-64 is the practical limit to the font
size that can be printed.

   I'd like to see, if possible, an update to WestCode's Pointless,
some applications, and printer drivers (we're talking about a
substantive part of the Apple II community at this point) so that
fonts of any size up to, say, 255 could be printed. Not an easy
task; but it might be possible.
