Re: Apple 2 iDisk



On a positive note, the device does seem to work quite well.  I only
encountered one image so far that would'nt boot correctly.  The rest
seem to do just fine.  Even ones with more complex loading schemes
that are not completely unprotected (but they must be modified enough
to be plain 140K .dsk images) work ok.  The overall read time seems to
be comparable to an actual disk ][.  I still prefer the rustic disk ]
[ drives and my stash of 5.25 disks.  But its nice to have a backup
plan that works with the apple ][+ for the day when drives crap out.
