Convert Corvus Multiplexor to ProDOS?

Thanks to David Fretz in Nassau Bay, Texas, I now have the host
adapter to the Corvus hard disk I was given a few weeks ago.

I plugged it all togther and the hard drive booted right up!

After some poking around, I learned that the hard disk system
is a Corvus Multiplexor (network) node (uses 34-wire ribbon
cable between drive and host adapter.) The controller is running
Constellation II firmware, v18.4 (11/82). The drive is configured
as:

     Controller ROM version: 63
     Cylinders: 306
     Sectors/Track: 20 (size?)
     Tracks/Cylinder: 6

The drive is quite speedy, but is currently limited to DOS 3.3
and PASCAL v1.1.

Is there any possibility of updating this system for use under
ProDOS?

Also, since the drive has connectors on the back for a VCR, it's
possible that this drive has Corvus Mirror capability. There
is an empty slot in the mini backplane inside the case, however,
so I suspect that an additional interface/controller board is
required for Mirror operation. The disk has the Mirror software
on it, though.

I think it'd be quite nice to have this drive up and running
as a ProDOS device. Does anyone know if it can be done? Again,
this is a Corvus MultiPlexor (flat cable) hard drive. It is not
now nor has ever been an OmniNet (twisted pair) system.

If it can't be converted to ProDOS, can programmer's information
on the drive be found? Are there drivers/setup software to allow
a PCPI AppliCard to create and maintain a CP/M partition on this
drive?

Thanks.
