The prodos file system lets you fumble around with prodos disks.
However, be carefulwhen saving important data: there is at least one
conflict (do not use it with AccessPC enabled).
BTW, when using patches such as AccessPC, save the files to a HD first,
and then copy it from there (using the Finder) to the destination disk.
I had hangups with both "FST"s in the past.
