                BANK STREET WRITER PLUS: ANY WAY TO INCREASE
                     THE FILE SIZE BEYOND 18K?

     I use Bank Street Writer Plus as my word processor, mainly for its
features: smooth macro commands, mouse control, automated subdirectories,
excellent spell checker, and simplicity.

     The one feature that it lacks is a large working memory buffer.  My
"flagship IIe" has two megs of RAM, yet VSW+ does not recognize it.

     Can anyone rewrite the source code to enable the program to recognize
any additional memory that is available?  Even an increase to 25K would be
very useful; 25K would be sufficient to hold college tests and other files
of medium length.

     I can provide the disk if anyone wants to alter the program.
