Fillit
On the PC that I use at work, there is a MSDOS program/command
called "fillit". If you type "fillit *.* a: /m" it checks to see
how much free space is in drive "A" (the floppy), then runs through
the current directory calculating how many files will exactly fit onto
the disk, then it moves those files to the floppy. Very handy for making
backups. And it wastes no floppies, because every one is 99% full until
the last floppy is in.
Is there anything like this for the ORCA or GNO shell or is there
an Apple II program like it?
