Of course, bragging about "my computer is bigger than yours" is passe as
well. Same thing about trying to reason to insecure computer owners who look
at new horizons and see their own power machines dissapearing into the same
sort of pit in time but without any love or devotion for it from the
developers to still hack away at the machine, leaving it in an even deeper
pit. Not to mention the people pathetic enough to start up these arguments
time after time.
IBMs and Macs have become the penis sheaths of the 90s. More power than
YOU'LL ever use. :)
I'll go to a posthouse, use a Sony D1 videotape machine, a couple of SGI
stations, the latest Paintbox (os/2 based), DaVinci 4:2:2 digital color
corrector, and god knows what else.
Why the hell do I need all that at HOME then?
My GS is enough.
I say we nuke the man from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
