Flopticals and RamFAST

Hi folks,

I consider getting a floptical for my GS. What I would like to know is:

Do I need the drivers that were posted to this binaries some time ago?
As far as I know a floptical is a SCSI device, so why isn't it enough
to have the RamFAST SCSI driver? (I'm using a RamFAST/SCSI)

Are those floptical owners among you satisfied with your floticals?
