PongLife/PowerGS "merger"

I've tried to avoid this from happening, but it has. No matter how
much I tried telling Ben Johnson (the editor of PongLife) to stay
out of One World Software Wizards, he wouldn't listen, and he joined.
We had a discussion on the phone, where I said it was very bad for the
diskazine (PongLife) which I worked 2 months on to publish, since he did
absolutely nothing except compile a list of programs from one guy and
did an interview (I did all the work basically...). So the next day,
guess who calls -- Dr. Tom, who cusses me out, saying he has 'washed his
hands of me' and that he is going to KEEP the SCSI card I said he could
borrow (which is stealing, by the way), and that if I wanted it, I would
have to fly to California to get it. Not only did he steal my board,
he also threatened me with a lawsuit (sound familiar, Joe?). I'm annoyed
at hearing his stoned, scraggly voice over the phone, and I called Ben
up and said I cannot be part of PongLife, since it is going to ruin
PongLife if it is part of 1WSW, and that I had put way too much work into
the project to lose it there. (BTW: I have been out of One World Software
Wizards for awhile now) I have started a new group, called PowerGS, which
publishes the new version of PongLife, with all of the quality interviews,
pictures, articles, sounds, and more, and that publication is also called
PowerGS. PowerGS: The Diskazine sports a new interface (better than the
one I originally created in the first issue of PongLife), and is going
to be monthly, instead of the Ben-method of 'when it's finished, I guess...,'
which annoyed the heck out of me. Also, GS MOD Monthly, the sound
publication for the GS from Tony Morales, is also a part of PowerGS (the
group). We have 3 members right now: Bryan Smart, Tony Morales, and
myself (Auri Rahimzadeh). We're looking for more, especially people who
would like to help out with the publications or people who are starting
their publications that would like to be part of a group that will help
them out in whatever way they need. PowerGS has one goal: to help support
the Apple II world, in whatever facet neccessary (this does not mean
hardware, since we have no money). We would like your support and comments
on anything we do, and how we can improve our publications.

So now the ultimate diskazine is PowerGS, and I'm proud of what I
accomplished with PongLife, and now all of my experience and my new
interface for PongLife will be in PowerGS :)

I have no idea what Ben is up to... but I hear he's in a hole...

Look forward to PowerGS issue #2 (I'm starting it at 2, since I did
PongLife issue #1) to be in your mailbox soon! If you are not already
on the BINSCII mailing list, please email to aurir@cap.gwu.edu.

l8r!
