SpaceFox EasterEgg/bomb? :)

   While disassembling parts of SpaceFox for GameHacker 1.42 (weird
asm code, btw), I noticed there seems to be part of a Easter Egg
encoded in the program, but it manages not to work.... When you're
being 'resurrected' (just after you die or start a level), if you
press "1" (on the keyboard, maybe not on the keypad), the message 'New
Weapon' blinks a few times.... It doesn't seem to do anything, and if
you hold down "1" long enough, it locks up the computer.....

   What fun. Anyone else want to confirm/deny/ignore this Easter
Egg report?
