Wow!  This is more serious than it first appears!  I am able to erase my disks
multiple times.  I can't fathom a 'motherboard' board problem that cause a
disk to be erasable only ONCE.  I've of write once optical disks, a erasable
'ONCE' floppy disk is really unique.

Perhaps you should consider a disk drive problem that is physically damaging
your disks.

No flames, I'm jesting.  All the coffee this morning has made me giddy.  I'm
reading things from a warped perspective.  I think I understand what the
poster really meant -- I just couldn't resist being goofy.  Wow, erasble
ONCE disks!
